Neverending search for Understanding. (9/5)

There are so many game related jokes I would like to make. But I either need to giggle or be pissed to really make the joke funny. When I feel "blah" then the joke is "blah". What I've found makes me happy in these times is to try something new.

So, I went all "anime storyline" on this comic. I got a picture in my head and just wanted to draw it. And, like every other bit of anime I've ever watched, a question gets lobbed out there and you always fall just short of getting the answer. You end up having to watch all eight thousand episodes before you finally understand the issue they've been dancing around since episode one.

And, as soon as I find a name I'm suitably happy with I'll apply it to the comic. It has to be appropriately abstract, yet hint at the purpose of the overall storyline. I'll figure it out.

So, what is he looking for? I know but I'm not telling you. **grins** Sorry.

---

And thus ends another episode of Woody's randomness illustrated. Thank you. Good night.

I'm guilty of being an anime-addict. Therefore, in response to the comic:

When do we get more?!

Hee.

Only anime I've ever seen was Dragon Ball Z... and maybe Sailor Moon... once... because I couldn't find the remote...

Woody it is almost scarry that when I saw the comic I knew it was an Anime related comic. Your art seems to keep growing with every comic.

I too am an addict of Anime and it does sometimes become annoying that you need to watch half a million episodes to get the full story from the begining. (Its even more annoying when you caint get the last 30 episodes of your anime cause it isn't released yet.)

Maybe "RPGs made-in-Japan"? Or "Anime questing"? Or even "Frozen suspense juice in a concentrate can"?

The possibilities are limitless .

don't you dare just leave us hanging!
honestly, when i saw the strip i thought it'd be about the mokey (and that you'd explain that in the writeup) but now you've just got to finish what you started...

dammit. stupid animés, still they're not the only ones. JJ Abrams (writer/co-writer of Alias and Lost) has made it a habit of his to do exactly what you did with this strip...and i keep getting hooked EVERY DAMN TIME ><

I can't think of a good name, but I can guess the plot of the anime...here goes..

The silver haired heroine type is lookign for an item that most consider merely a fairytale, while the one askign for proof, is a superior officer in some kind of armed forces, adn also likely related to the silver haired heroine, somehow. the superior is using the heroine to find this "item" while he sets up a scheme to overthrow the government he is currently serving, needign only the item to complete his plans.

And my guess on a possible ending, the plan works, the heroine is tricked by his own relative into destroying somethign he loves, somehow his love interest gets hurt in the process, and he goes into a rage, gaining some kind of power, who knows, maybe the item reacts to his emotion. In the end, he defeats the superior officer.

After the battle it goes to 1 of 2 possible final scenes:

one:it ends with questions, and noone knows if his love interest is dead or alive, and noone knows what will happen to the now broken society

two: an additional episode answers all questions, even ones you didn't have.

Anime randomness, a suitable substitute for the poopy stickfigure ^.^

Haha, yeah I have the same experience, they tend to be vague and dont get across the whole issue for several episodes.

I LOVE anime' but sold almost my entire collection trying to get games I wanted so I wouldn't be using bill money to buy them. That the case I love Witch Hunter Robin and Ghost in the Shell. I would like to think that comic is from various Gundam just cause the way they are dressed and they ALWAYS have some guy with white hair in it.. Sephiroth envy maybe?

Burrito!

Was waiting on a post for the comic as I was wondering what was going on, makes complete sense now. Nice strip and it's good to have a change of pace. ^_^
