The folks at Mythic have invited me out to their 2006 Las Vegas Roundtable. Unfortunately for anyone not already planning on going, tickets to the event have sold out.

As far as I know I won't be there in any official capacity, just as a reporter covering the event. Perfectly fine by me though, as I'll be bringing back new info on Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning and the new DAoC expansion: Labyrinth of the Minotaur (more info).

The event will be keynoted by popular fantasy author R.A. Salvatore, who I've had the pleasure of speaking with a few times now. Good guy.

The Las Vegas Rountable will be held at the Rio Hotel & Casino, September 29th-30th. I'll do my best to keep you guys updated before, during, and after the event.

Hey Woody, you've made references to being a foodie in the past. One little gem you should visit if you get the chance is Lotus of Siam. Seriously the best Thai you will get without leaving the country. And it is actually reasonably priced.

Just FYI, about 10 minutes ago I got a county-wide email (that's who I work for out here) that highway 93 over the Hoover dam has been closed indefinately. A crane working on the bypass collapsed. In case anyone was going there that way.

What a weird coincidence that I read this right after I got that...

I didn't lose my phone. My phone was knocked off by a pressing throng of people with no sense of personal space... nearly two years ago.
